Foundations of Survivor Centered Economic Advocacy

On November 17, 2020, Katie VonDeLinde, CSAJ Expert Advisor & Adjunct Faculty, Washington University Brown School of Social Work presented a webinar describing the survivor-centered economic advocacy model; providing tools to engage in meaningful conversations with survivors; and discussing strategies to increase survivor’s economic security in the face of COVID-19.strategies to increase resiliency and well-being; and gain support from peers around the country. This webinar was a part of the The ACcounting for Costs to Ensure Survivor Safety (ACCESS) Institute’s COVID webinars. ACCESS Institute is a training that will provide non-lawyer legal advocates with a range of skills, networks, resources and strategies to address the costs and financial barriers domestic and sexual violence survivors face when seeking safety and justice.
